Fate of an Illusion by Sigmund Freud In his book Future of an Illusion, Sigmund Freud uses his technique for analysis on religion by contrasting the connection among human and religion to that of a youngster and his folks. Freud adequately shows that religion is a result of the human psyche. In the wake of uncovering religion as an a fantasy, Freud presumes that mankind will be in an ideal situation when it has done without religion.
